So, first time I stepped into Dave's Quality Meat a little over a year ago I knew it was the place to go for the newest and hottest gear. They have one of the biggest Nike SB accounts around and are constantly getting exclusive sneakers that are difficult to find anywhere else. Considering how small the actual store is, this place is doing big things. They have their own exclusive kicks, Nike Air Max 90 DQM Edition and their own DQM Edition New Era fitteds (all pictured below)

Check out this clip. A breakdancer in the subway was in the middle of his routine and a 3 year old wandered into the performance area. He didn't see her and sent her flying with a kick to the head. Where are the parents on this one?

I just tried this today for the first time and it's definately gonna be my drink from now on...it's a new flavor from Vitaminwater called XXX. KANYE WEST - CAN'T TELL ME NOTHING
Ever since the snippet was released last week, everyone has been looking for the new Kanye track "Can't Tell Me Nothing." Well, this isn't high quality, but it IS the full song (courtesy of hiphopgame.com) Some good wordplay, but I think it's wayyyyyy to mellow for a first single. If you didn't know, Kanye puts out a pre-album before the actual release of every new album, so I'm kinda hoping this track is off of the pre-album, not off of "Graduation." Anyway, enjoy and lemme know your thoughts.

RICK RUBIN LEAVES WARNER BROS. FOR COLUMBIA
Music pioneer Rick Rubin has left Warner Bros. to run Columbia Records with the current chairman, Steve Barnett. Rubin, who founded Def Jam in 1982 has produced hit records for with rap legends such as the Beastie Boys, LL, Public Enemy, and Jay Z...not to mention working on award-winning albums by the likes of Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond. Just last year, he set the record for the most Grammy's won by a record Producer, taking home five awards, including "Producer of the Year." Rubin will now be in charge of producing and developing artists on the Sony BMG label, but will also continue producing tracks for artists still signed to Warner Bros. Congratulations Rick.
FERGIE - BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY (VIDEO)
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Fergie and her "humps," but I'm liking this song. It's more mature sounding and actually has some substance in the lyrics. Lemme know your thoughts.

50 CENT - FULLY LOADED CLIP MONTAGE
Here's an official "video" for 50's song "Fully Loaded Clip" off his new album entitled "Curtis." I don't know about you, but it's just not believable to me. He comes out on this track rapping about "shining his nine" meanwhile he's writing songs like "Amusement Park" where he sings "If you wanna ride on a roller coaster baby come on and ride/it goes up and down and round and round." I think 50's past his prime, but hopefully after I hear all the tracks off the new album he proves me wrong.

3M'S CLEVER NEW AD
Check out 3M's new ad for it's line of security glass. It's a billboard made of the unbreakable glass and it's filled with a buttload of cash. Pretty clever if you ask me. Although I'm sure if left in new york overnight someone would take it right out of the ground and disappear with it. Haha.

So this company called "Bite" based outta Japan is looking to start a new fashion trend involving fitted hats. With accessories like lacelocks for sneakers becoming more popular, "Bite" looks to start another trend with Fitted Cap Clips. Numbers, letters, symbols..whatever you want...that hook onto the brim of your fitted. What you think? Is it gonna catch on or is it gonna flop faster than a "Making the Band" group?

So by now I'm sure everyone has used Google Maps to find their home on satellite. SLUMP IN MUSIC RITE NOW
Hey guys, I'm sorry for the lack of music posts lately, but I feel like the music industry is in a slump rite now. I haven't heard any songs worthy of being posted in the past week. 50's new single "Amusement Park" is absolute garbage and i wish he was joking with it though I know he isn't, NeYo's album is decent, but no tracks really stood out all that much...just overall the songs have been sub-par. Once I find somethind worth my time and more importantly YOUR time, I'll post it.
